Associate Manager, Shopper Marketing

Job DescriptionGeneral Summary:The Associate Manager will assist the managers in Shopper Marketing with the development and implementation of shopper marketing programs for the Celebrations Category for our retail partners. This is a Cleveland or Minneapolis-based position with limited travel required.The ideal candidate will possess strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize needs and adapt to changes. The Associate Manage will display excellent communication skills and demonstrate leadership principles both in a collaborative and independent setting.Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Manage the development, production, and implementation of the approved marketing plan in support of multiple retailers in numerous channels of distribution to drive traffic and sales in the celebrations department.• Ensure all programs are completed on time and within the approved budget by coordinating day-to-day activities of internal and external resources via timelines in a live project status document.• Lead creative kickoff meetings and facilitate cross-functional project meetings.• Communicate project status and direct all actions required to meet all deadlines.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • A sense of curiosity to learn day-to-day business operations • Proficiency in Microsoft Office• Knowledge of marketing and design principlesExperience Required:Experience in a consumer based environment; relevant internship experience would be consideredExperience in an ad agency or in-house agency setting, preferred but not required
