Front-End Angular Developer (Local to Atlanta)

Our client has an excellent remote opportunity for an Angular Developer in Atlanta, GA to work for one of the nation''s top transportation companies. The company major transporter of industrial products, including chemicals, agriculture, metals, and construction materials, and offers stable long-term contracts, innovative projects, and a work-life balance.Pay Rate: $70/hourDuration: 24-months Location: Remote, will favor candidates local to Atlanta. Responsibilities: This role would involve the development of new mobile applications, as well as feature enhancements to existing applications. Participate in the development of hybrid mobile applications using the latest versions of Angular and Ionic Framework. Development responsibilities include overall hybrid mobile application design and development, participating in code reviews, and pair development. Provide proactive advice and feedback throughout the development lifecycle for prevention and early correction of quality problems. Other responsibilities include 24/7 support and troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise. Work with business partners to gather requirements, prepare functional specifications, form project plans, and communicate progress throughout the software development lifecycle. Requirements: 3+ years of front-end development experience using Angular 2+ or similar JavaScript frameworks. Experience with Cordova or Ionic Framework is a huge plus. Strong understanding of software design patterns. Experience integrating with REST APIs and experience building REST services using Java. Experience with Git as source control. Good understanding of UI and UX design. Experience with DevOps and automation.
