Job Description

Position Overview:Serve as an All Source Intelligence Analyst within the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), National Security Directorate (NSD). The National Security Directorate is responsible for the directing, managing, technical review and coordination of all NCIS worldwide counterintelligence investigations and operations. The Directorate is also responsible for maintaining effective strategic and program planning processes for the National Security Directorate. This will include conducting activities designed to assess and evaluate the National Security Directorate''s effectiveness, monitor and report on agency and program performance, project long-term resource and support requirements, and conduct special studies and projects related to these areas of responsibility. Responsibilities:• Collaborate with analytical counterparts across the U.S. Intelligence Community; applying knowledge of threat environments, open-source tools, and the status of current/developing adversarial threat technologies and methodologies, in order to devise all-source analytic/collection strategies to pursue access and exploitation of targets of interest. • Responsible for collecting, reviewing, interpreting, evaluating, and integrating information from multiple sources to assess the relevance and significance of developments within assigned area(s), and preparing complex products including briefings, summaries, reports, studies, assessments, and estimates. • Provide support in planning, directing, and presenting reports and assessments focused on foreign intelligence services and entities activities, primarily occurring in or emanating from specific functional or regional areas. • Perform risk and opportunity assessments through synthesis of information across all intelligence disciplines and open-source information. Provides products to customers by researching, analyzing and reporting intelligence via the appropriate reporting vehicles. • Assist in the drafting and staffing of information papers, planning orders, operational concepts, analyses, estimates, and briefings for force protection entity leadership, primary staff, and supported internal/external agencies. Qualifications• Eight (8) years of current, demonstrated and relevant experience in providing full spectrum intelligence analytical support focusing on adversarial threats to DON plans, programs, resources and personnel. Collaborating with analytical counterparts across the U.S. Intelligence Community; applying knowledge of threat environments and open-source tools. • Eight (8) years of current, demonstrated and relevant experience in developing adversarial threat technologies/methodologies in order to devise all-source analytic/collection strategies to pursue access and exploitation of targets of interest. • Five (5) years of current, demonstrated and relevant experience in collecting, reviewing, interpreting, evaluating, and integrating information from multiple sources to assess the relevance and significance of developments within assigned area(s), and preparing complex products including briefings, summaries, reports, studies, assessments, and estimates. • Five (5) years of current, demonstrated and relevant experience to professionally liaison with personnel in other intelligence agencies, law enforcement organizations, military intelligence services, and allied foreign governments to discuss analysis, production, and collection requirements and provide information as appropriate. • Three (3) years demonstrated experience in conducting All-Source Analytics within DoD and performing risk and opportunity assessments through synthesis of information across all intelligence disciplines and open-source information. • Current, demonstrated and relevant experience in terminologies, methodologies, and IC-level research and analytical techniques as applied to highly complex assignments. • Current, demonstrated and relevant experience in planning, directing, and presenting reports and assessments focused on foreign intelligence services and entities activities, primarily occurring in or emanating from specific functional or regional areas. • Position requires a Top Secret clearance with current SSBI and SCI eligibility.
