We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and Qualifications:Role Summary: The Student Special Procedure Technologist is required to perform a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures. Student Special Procedure Technologists are required to utilize sterile techniques, operate complex angiographic equipment, and assist physicians by scrubbing and circulating during procedures, as necessary, throughout the Mission Health system. Continuing education, learned skills and experience will be utilized. This position will function with constant supervision from licensed technologist and/or physician to produce superior quality of radiographic images. The technologist must demonstrate independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Responsibility for designated areas and procedures is assumed.What qualifications you will need:Required Education: Must be entering second year of JRCERT accredited School of RadiographyPreferred Education: NoneRequired License: BLS certifiedPreferred License: NoneRequired Experience: Must be in second year of Radiography SchoolPreferred Experience: None Mission Hospital,& located in Asheville, North Carolina, serves as the regional tertiary and quaternary care facility for Western North Carolina and the adjoining region.
