Assists team of staff and volunteers with POS register functions and supervises daily procedures. Sets high team expectations to provide exceptional customer service and serves as a role model. This position works closely with manager and other staff on back-office operations including, receiving merchandise into POS system, coding invoices, preparing cash reports, stocking/organizing storerooms. The Operations Lead also assists with purchasing and promotions, seasonal planning, maintaining website, creative store displays, and effective merchandising. This position is benefit eligible! Health, Vision, Dental and, more!Required Qualifications: High School diploma Strong retail customer service, sales, & merchandising background. 2-5 years of supervisory experience. (team leader, asst. manager, manager) Demonstrates excellent sales and customer service skills. Has ability to multi-task productively and remain calm in busy, stressful situations. Computer operations/POS cash register system Cash handling, basic accounting principals Purchasing/receiving Training/supervising/motivating teams Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree Training and experience in floral design, display, marketing, accounting.Previous work with volunteers. Floral/gift/holiday/fashion retail knowledge. Expertise in marketing, websites, advertising, art, design, inventory control, Excel, Publisher.
