Auto Body Technician Apprentice

Summary:ReCondition Pros is a high volume automotive cosmetic reconditioning company that has experiencedrapid growth and success. At ReCondition Pros, we pride ourselves on continuous evolution. This position will perform sanding panels for paint, masking cars for paint, moving cars and assisting the team as needed. We are a team based company that believes in developing and training our associates and working towards a team goal everyday. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Adheres to Company safety rules and policiesResponsible for: final body prepbag and tape as neededfinal quality control/auditunmasking assisting paint and body teammoving cars in and out of prep and body laneslight sanding up to matching body linesblocking and glazingstud weldingPlastic repairhammering out or filling depressions with body fillerFile, grind and sand repaired surfaces using power and hand tools before turning vehicles over to the paint departmentRequires the use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to: mask, gloves, face shield/goggles, non-slip shoes and/or other protective garments/equipment as neededMay be required to work overtime as neededPerform other duties as assigned by ReCondition Pros managementJob Requirements:High School diploma or GED preferred1+ years of experience preferredMust be 18 years of age or olderMust be able to drive an automatic, stick shift is preferredMust be able to pass pre-employment screeningAttention to detailMust be able to ready, write and communicate effectively in EnglishMust be highly motivated, self-starter and work as a team playerMust have high levels of attention to detail, be able to multitask and stay organizedMust demonstrate the ability to act professionallyMust be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time throughout the shiftMust be able to occasionally move about inside the warehouse to access cabinets, supplies, etcMust be able to to occasionally lift, move, push and/or pull up to 50 poundsReCondition Pros is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
