Responsibilities Technica Corporation has a great career opportunity for a Senior SQL Database SME to support the Blu SCI BOSS program in San Antonio TX. The ideal candiate would be responsible for: * Administer database services for the Enterprise to include all supported sites and systems. The current database utilized is Structured Query Language (SQL).* Operate and check the day-to-day operation of fielded anti-virus databases. Perform system checks, backup, recovery, and load analysis. Build and rebuild replication scheme and troubleshoot systems with other operational functions and application developers.* Design build functions to control access to data, enforce data integrity, manage concurrency, and add, modify, and delete functionalities based on customer requirements for upgrading software and support tools as newer versions are released.* Convert standard databases to the Enterprise-level database.* Manage servers; research and troubleshoot problems by reviewing logs, records, and network configurations.* Ensure data is backed up on a daily basis; log all IT and Enterprise problems and resolutions and provide results to the ESMT Government lead and COR in the monthly status report.* Ensure all software is properly licensed and notify the AF BluSCI Software Program Manager of unlicensed software on the network 24/7.* Identify all issues that may affect Enterprise operations to the COR and upon discovery.* Develop publish and maintain AF BluSCI Enterprise SOPs and provide training on existing and new technologies to Government personnel to support patch management methodologies. This is informal office training. Provide process and operations guides within specified time limits.* Develop and maintain Enterprise/ESC level SOPs for services managed and maintained. Requirements * Active Top Secret SCI clearance required* Bachelor''s degree in IT or relevant field and 5-8 years of experience* CompTIA Security+ CE* SQL Server 2014* Able to work independently on specific tasks associated with one or more knowledge areas defined above.
