Requisition :IASEC003486 Job Title:IA Sec Spec II Location:Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898- 5000 Clearance Level:Active DoD -Top Secret SCI Required Certification(s): * DoD 8570 IAT Level II.* Experience in military classified and unclassified networks.* Computer Network Defense certifications desired: CEH, CFR, CCNA Cyber Ops, CCNA Security, etc. certification from the CSSP-Analyst (CSSP-A), CSSP-Incident Responder (CSSP-IR), or CSSP-Auditor (CSSP-AU) roles within DoD 8570.01-M. **Selected applicantsmay be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. ** SUMMARYPerform Information System Security Officer (ISSO) functions to ensure Customer SCIFs will meet Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) regulations and policies regarding IA, Cybersecurity, and Incident Response. Support C&A efforts for JWICS and SCIF ATOs /ATCs. Actions may include travel to various sites in order to assist each SCIF in the completion of required paperwork as well as validate and verify system security requirements. Perform, or review, technical Cybersecurity assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability, and non-compliance with established IA standards and regulations, and recommend mitigation strategies. Document system and network diagrams that will include multiple enclaves. Telework available. DUTIES* Provides Cybersecurity support services. Coordinates efforts to protect and secure information resources, such as JWIC account management actions.* Researches and implements pertinent Federal, DoD, and Army Cybersecurity policies and regulations.* Implements Cybersecurity Best Business Practices (BBPs).* Provides DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), eMASS (Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service), Cross-Domain Solutions Management (CDSM), and Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) consultant support.* Provides the resolution of all security incidents reported against AMI-ITS managed assets.* Ensures AMC-wide SCIFs meet Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) regulations and policies regarding IA, Cybersecurity, and Incident Response. Supports RMF activities, including Certification and Accreditation (C&A) efforts to obtain JWICS and SCIF Authority-to-Operate (ATO).* Conducts technical assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability and non-compliance with established IA standards and regulations.* Recommends mitigation strategies.* Documents system and network diagrams that include multiple enclaves.* Performs continuous monitoring of system controls.* Assesses Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms). Qualifications Education and Certifications* Active Final DoD TS/SCI clearance (TS may be considered).* DoD 8570 IAT Level II.* Experience in military classified and unclassified networks.* Computer Network Defense certifications desired: CEH, CFR, CCNA Cyber Ops, CCNA Security, etc. certification from the CSSP-Analyst (CSSP-A), CSSP-Incident Responder (CSSP-IR), or CSSP-Auditor (CSSP-AU) roles within DoD 8570.01-M. Background Needed and Years of Experience* Demonstrates highly technical expertise in desktop, servers, and networking with 5-9 years of experience in the Cybersecurity program management field.* Bachelor''s Degree in computer science, information technology, or another related field.* Demonstrates a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles and theories.* Able to provide consultation to technical solutions over a wide range of complex difficult problems in which proposed solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.* Ability to devise technical modeling and measuring techniques.* Capable of utilizing statistical methods, mathematics, engineering practices, and techniques. Background, training, and experience with DoD Risk Management Framework. Additional Skills & Qualifications Must-Have Technical Skills* Experience with RMF / A&A Documentation, eMASS. Working Conditions Working Conditions* Government site with 0%-5% travel possible.* General office environment.* Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walk for up to 10% of the time.* The working environment is generally favorable.* Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.* Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.* Due to COVID-19, a temporary telework schedule is in place.
