The Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) focus is to provide engineering, technical and programmatic support to the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors (PEO IWS 2.0) Directorate. Efforts include overarching program management, test and evaluation, systems engineering, operations analysis, systems integration, international, cyber security, IT network and programmatic support for over 25 PEO IWS 2.0 advanced radar, phased array radar, electronic warfare, electro-optic, advanced off-board electronic warfare/decoy and directed energy programs. CJ IN123 Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced Action Officer to provide direct support to the Directed Energy Program Office within the U.S. Navy Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors & Lasers Directorate (PEO IWS 2.0). Your primary responsibility in this role will be to work closely with the PEO IWS 2.0 Directed Energy (DE) Principal Assistant Program Manager (PAPM) and High Energy Laser with Integrated Optical-dazzler and Surveillance (HELIOS) and Optical Dazzling Interdictor, Navy (ODIN) Assistant Program Managers to maintain and update DE program documentation such as schedules, organization charts, and program status briefings. We expect you to support the current and future DE Milestone approval process and Request for Proposal (RFP) development efforts, specifically ODIN Acquisition Strategy and Milestone documentation development and tracking. We don''t expect you to come in with any expertise but we do expect you to consistently demonstrate strong attributes to quickly build competencies and provide the highest quality products and services to the Directed Energy team. Qualifications * BS degree * 4+ years of military experience or acquisition program office experience, to include practical working knowledge and experience with documentation, processes, protocols, formats, and deadlines * Active DoD Secret security clearance, and the ability to maintain it Desired Qualifications: * Familiarity with directed energy programs or laser applications (industrial or military) * Navy Surface Warfare experience * Experience in program management of shipboard radar systems, surface ships, submarines, weapons, combat systems, or C4ISR systems
