This Principal Contract Administrator role will provide an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a team of Contract professionals who are actively supporting numerous contracts and multiple millions of dollars of ongoing proposal activity. This role involves interfacing with all levels of management and functions (Program Office, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Quality, etc.) within BAE Systems as well as with our USG Customer and some commercial customers.Location: This position is located in Merrimack, NH.As the Principal Contract Administrator, you will work with internal team members and external customers to shape and close business opportunities in concert with internal objectives for the OAS Product Line. Daily responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:Consistently support complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues as well as an understanding and compliance with company policies and procedures.Ability to interact with the team to gather, interpret, analyze, and develop recommended strategies and present pliance with Company policies and procedures, legal, regulatory and customer requirements.Prepare, negotiate and manage complex proposals and contracts.Provide guidance to Program, Engineering and Operation teams on government and commercial contracting methods for military equipment while protecting our Intellectual Property rights.Cross functional collaboration with Program Management, Finance, Operations, Quality and Export teams.Required Education, Experience, & SkillsRequired Education, Experience, & Skills:Bachelor''s Degree and/or Master''s Degree(s)US Citizen with the ability to successfully obtain a Secret clearance.Strong hands-on knowledge of, and experience with, FAR and DFAR and export regulations.Strong knowledge of intellectual property and policies.Proven ability to lead and close complex negotiations requiring Current Cost or Pricing Data and Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (formerly TINA) certification.Experience with agreements to support business development, program management and engineering development teams (ex. NDAs, bailment agreements, etc.).Experience dealing with the US Government and major industry defense & electronics companies, as your customer.Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to prepare spreadsheets and presentations.Preferred Education, Experience, & SkillsPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills:Experience with the complex RFP''s, and large proposal development.Experience with various USG agencies (Army, Navy, Air Force, etc).Active Secret clearance or higher.Possess a Hungry, Humble and Smart attitudeContract Admin Principal - Hybrid78450BREEO Career Site Equal Opportunity Employer.
