We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, passionate about building highly available and scalable cloud services. You''re an expert in Kubernetes and in building infrastructure & tools while following GitOps-driven CI/CD patterns to make it repeatable. ResponsibilitiesManage Kubernetes cluster architecture, installation, configuration, and maintenance • Delivering Infrastructure-as-code using Agile techniques, tools, and methodologiesBuilding automation tools and components to aid in installation and provisioning of Kubernetes services and applicationsPromoting a DevSecOps mentality and establishing best practices to ensure and maintain best-in-class cloud securityCollaborating with Software Architects, Software Engineers, and Data Scientists to ensure stability of products and services in Production and throughout the SDLCActively monitoring to ensure uptime and effective performance of applications and platformsActing as an escalation point to address issues with outages and operations and actively forecasts to proactively address issues and minimize downtimeStay current with new technology options and vendor products, evaluating which technologies and product would benefit the companyRecommend process and architecture improvementsParticipate in software releases and on-call rotationOther duties as assignedRequirementsMinimum 5 years of technical leadership and hands-on administration of Kubernetes orchestration environmentsMinimum 8 years of experience as a DevOps EngineerMinimum 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructureProgramming experience with Python, Go or Ruby and comfortable at a command or shell prompt. Extra points for experience troubleshooting & debugging Node.js or Java applications.Experience with Kubernetes management tools such as kOps, kubectl and Kubernetes API.BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.Preferred SkillsExperience with Kubernetes service meshes (Istio, Linkerd, or Consul Connect, etc.) with implementations of mTLS and ingress controllersExperience with infrastructure tools such as Terraform, Packer, AnsibleBackground integrating CI with continuous delivery (CD) platforms such as Harness, Spinnaker, Helm or similar toolsExperience with AWS EKS and migrating workloads to AWS EKSPrior experience working at a startup or in high-growth business environmentsCertified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) certification is a bonus - provided by Dice
