Senior Manager, Enabling Areas (EA), Learning and Development (L&D)Deloitte''s US Enabling Areas Learning and Development (L&D) organization seeks a Learning and Development (L&D) Senior Manager who would be responsible for leading a team of learning managers and learning specialists to implement the Firm''s L&D and EA L&D strategies, enable key business outcomes, and foster business relationships.It is essential that EA L&D senior managers are skilled at building and maintaining professional relationships with business stakeholders and business leaders in order to deepen their understanding of the business, business objectives, and performance goals, and partner with stakeholders to strategize on a plan whereby L&D can drive towards established business outcomes.Required professional capabilities:Program Management : Lead and deliver multiple programs and initiatives (if applicable) leveraging experience and leading practices; adopt a structured approach resulting in seamless planning, robust governance, and strong stakeholder relationshipsManaging Change: Lead change from the front and act as an ambassador by communicating the vision, providing direction in times of uncertainty, mitigating risk and leveraging change agents to achieve objectivesEffective Communication : Exhibit exceptional communication skills, skilled at navigating difficult conversationsAnalytical Acumen : Lead teams with analytical acumen to solve complex issues and develop informed recommendations that shape or support conclusionsManaging Quality & Risk: Take ownership of ethical, data security, independence, quality, risk management and compliance responsibilities; challenge unethical behavior and drive a culture of integrity, quality and excellence that comply with Deloitte standards and policiesStrategic Thinking: Lead diverse teams to solve highly complex business problems through strategic and innovative thinking that creates value in highly competitive business landscapesTech Savviness: Lead conversations and engagements informed by relevant (and sometimes disruptive) technology tools, processes and platforms; enable ethical decision-making for internal/external stakeholders and Deloitte; partner with technology/process experts when necessaryRequired leadership capabilities and skills:Create purpose : Translate broader strategy into a compelling team vision and goals; align teams and set priorities to achieve objectives and business outcomesBuild diverse capability : Create a talent experience that attracts, develops and retains diverse, top talent and high performing teamsDeliver value: Make judgments on what will make the most effective use of resources to optimize valueLeverage new business opportunities: Apply deep knowledge of disruptive trends and competitor activity to drive continuous improvementDrive agility: Deliver exceptional quality results and stakeholder value by leveraging each person''s strengths to build high performing teams across businesses and bordersInfluence: Build deep professional relationships across a diverse network and use a flexible influencing style to gain buy-in and drive impactCollaborate : Collaborate to leverage networks and people across Deloitte to harness the depth and breadth of DeloitteCreate purpose : Translate broader strategy into a compelling team vision and goals; align teams and set priorities to achieve objectivesWork you''ll do - Act as a strategic partner and consultative advisor to architect engaging, holistic development experiences that create measurable value and impact for our people and the EA businesses across the US and USI. Collaborate with stakeholders to define business strategic goals, development priorities, required skills, and learning solutions to build a multi-year development strategy.Create a robust portfolio of curricula that brings the talent development vision (Education, Experience and Exposure) and the client business'' objectives and performance goals to fruitionEducate client stakeholders on how L&D can partner with them to help achieve desired business outcomes; bring those stakeholders on the journey from identifying specific business outcomes to supporting those outcomes with tangible learning solutionsDevelop the vision, strategy, and implementation plan to drive learning beyond the classroom, employing emerging technologies and creative design ideas to make learning ''sticky''.Analyze learner feedback and other data to promote continuous improvement of development solutions, consistently moving development to the next levelExecute with strong project management skillsMaintain an active curiosity about the latest trends in the Technology business to anticipate learning needs and oversee the sourcing of immersive development solutions to build skills in niche areas that allow the Technology organization to reduce costs, digitize processes, and secure our IT infrastructure.Apply knowledge of vendor landscape, adult learning theory, learning and development best practices, tools and technology to advise on and evaluate options to elevate the learning strategy.Ensure national policies, programs and guidelines are followed and manage exceptions and escalationsFoster high-performing, diverse teams that play to their strengths, know when to pull in additional resources to fill in gaps, and who fully support each other to provide an exceptional talent experienceThe TeamThe Enabling Areas L&D team architects the development experience and solutions for the professionals working across the US and India in Deloitte''s internal client service businesses such as Finance, Marketing, Risk, Sales, Strategy, Talent, Technology and Workplace Experience.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor''s Degree; Minimum 10 years of related experienceOutstanding interpersonal skills that build relationships at all levels across the organization with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build consensusAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, professional services environmentSound leadership skillsStrong strategic and critical thinking to identify interdependencies between issues, data, and outcomes; clear understanding of how moving pieces come together to build the big pictureEstablished track record for taking a consultative approach to designing and delivering innovative learning programs with measurable business results that meet stakeholder needsGo-to resource for adult learning theories, leading-edge instructional design methods, performance consulting, communications and change managementSignificant program management experience in successfully planning, managing and delivering multiple, concurrent, and complex work streams in a matrixed organization with aggressive timelinesStrong analytical skills and ability to identify and present data-driven insights and trends.Proven ability to communicate ideas and insights in person, virtually, and in writing, succinctly and with impact, understanding what is relevant vs. what is ''noise'' to the audience.Strong command of Microsoft Office skills and ability to produce deliverables that carry a ''stamp of excellence.''In Excel, aggregate data, complete complex analysis, and display results visuallyIn PowerPoint, translate data into insights and tell a logically structured, succinct, and compelling story tailored to your audience; make clear and easily actionable asksIn Word, create clear, concise, professional written communications with a user-friendly layout that''s conducive to cognition.Up to 20% travel could be required based on role responsibilitiesMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futurePreferred:MBA or other advanced degree in training and development, human resources development, organizational psychology, or related fieldPrior consulting or professional services experienceFor individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $115,030 to $211,850.You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performanceEA_ExpHireEA_TALENT_ExpHire
