The Lead Nurse Clinician position is responsible for overseeing the medication administration policy and procedure, psychiatric and medical needs of program. Provides education, training, and medical oversight to staff according to current statue, policy and compliance. Lead position is responsible to lead, direct or delegate all nursing tasks to ensure compliance is maintained with medication administration, medical and psychiatric policy and coordination of services to all residents. Ensure that nursing and all other staff have adequate training and support to effectively and safely provide medical services from time of admission through discharge plan. Nurse Lead will serve as a liaison between nursing staff and supervisor on needs or opportunities for improvement. This position will provide support to program supervisors on the development and implementation of policies and procedures through scope of nursing license. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor of Science Nursing Experience: Two Years or 4,000 hours of nursing experience. One year experience providing nursing services in Crisis, IRTS or similar residential setting OR one year nurse supervisory experience. Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: Current Minnesota RN license.
