Come share your talents with one of the nations fastest-growing, multi-million dollar organizations.Job SummaryThe Teaching Kitchen Chef will lead and coordinate scheduling, programing and running of teaching kitchens as determined including but not limited to ordering, TK station set up, teaching, and breakdown for each course.Key Responsibilities:Owns the Teaching Kitchen at home unitCoordinates, develops and maintains teaching materials to be used in teaching kitchens and food literacy program initiativesIdentifies new revenue sources-team building, fund raising and social / networking eventsDrives engagement among all Teaching Kitchen programmingWorks collaboratively with onsite management team and Registered Dietitian as applicable to grow and evolve the programCultivates user engagement and enablement through culinary and food literacyPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications:Culinary Arts Degree from a recognized Culinary school or Bachelors degree (B.A. or B.S.) in culinary & hospitality management, food and nutrition or related field of study required, desirable5+ years as a Culinary instructor or chefPossess knowledge of current food trends and sustainabilityDemonstrate a personal interest and experience in culinary innovation and teaching healthy cooking techniques to the public.Self-motivated, independent, high energy, organized, flexible and has excellent time management skills.Is engaging and comfortable working in different teaching environmentsApply to Restaurant Associates today!Restaurant Associates is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass Story (Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
