There is never a dull moment with us.Group/DivisionThe Office of the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) plays a critical role in developing advanced long-range technology in collaboration with product divisions and strategic marketing, working on future technology like light sources, lasers, and sensors. We are engaged in the research and development process, and once the technology is mature, we partner with product engineering groups who then build products based on the technology we''ve developed. The Office of the CTO also provides technical input into KLA''s strategic planning process, program reviews and Product Life Cycle (PLC) phases. We provide our broad technology expertise and cross-division experience to ensure we leverage the collective knowledge within our company.ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will join a high-caliber team of technologists in the CTO group driving innovation in the areas of sensors, sources, and optics. The responsibilities of the technology program manager in the TAP group entail:Developing supplier technology roadmap to enable KLA product roadmapProvide leadership and continuity of relationship with technology supplierEnable new products and drive continuous innovation Be accountable for technology success from R&D to ProductionDriving coordination between CTO, Divisions, and other teamsProvide R&D support and strategize new requests from divisionsSupport technology prototyping, problem solving and risk mitigationFollow PLC process and best practices from Phase 2 to ProductionQualificationsCandidate must have subject matter expertise in CCD/ CMOS image sensors or cameras. Imaging systems experience with broad understanding of sensor technologies and applications is also acceptable. Prior program/ project leadership demonstrated in technology, engineering or applications role is required. The candidate must have good presentation, collaboration, and conflict management skills to help communicate plans with clarity and steer technical teams internally & externally towards a common goalUnderstanding of Intellectual Property creation, management and protection is a plus. Prior experience with managing technology suppliers or customers and understanding of joint development agreements is desired, but not requiredQualifications/ Education DesiredDoctorate (Academic) with 4 years of experienceCandidate must have subject matter expertise in CCD/ CMOS image sensors or cameras. Imaging systems experience with broad understanding of sensor technologies and applications is also acceptable. Prior program/ project leadership demonstrated in technology, engineering or applications role is required. The candidate must have good presentation, collaboration, and conflict management skills to help communicate plans with clarity and steer technical teams internally & externally towards a common goalUnderstanding of Intellectual Property creation, management and protection is a plus.
