Title : Signal Processing EngineerLocation : Tucson, AZDuration : 12 MonthsJob Description:Participate in challenging multi-disciplinary research across integrated product teams consisting of Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC), Signal Processing and missile-and-sensor-level Performance Simulations.You will participate in the design, development, and integration of Radar and Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) algorithms, conducting system trades/sensitivity analyses, and performance assessments tsupport our products and new business initiatives.You will work with detailed high-fidelity simulations written in C/C++ and MATLAB tdevelop, prototype, and test radar and/or EO/IR signal processing algorithms and modelsYou will conduct performance trade-off and sensitivity studies for missile radar and/or EO/IR applicationsYou will participate in production and engineering lab test environments and field test environments ttest, verify, and validate radar models and signal processing algorithm requirements and performanceYou will collaborate as a team member in all phases of missile development from program start up tlive fire test, to provide engineering expertise by participating in project design reviews and peer reviews, including technical briefings tinternal department heads and external customersRequired Skill Sets:Bachelor''s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or a related STEM degreeWith a Bachelor''s degree listed above, you must have five (5) years or more of documented work and/or academic experience in the following areas (a Master''s degree will satisfy 2 years of work experience and a PhD will satisfy the work experience):Programming in C++ (preferred) or CUsing MATLAB or Python for evaluation of data setsUsing UNIX/Linux based workstationsSimulating physical systemsThe ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance prior the start date.Desired Skill Sets:Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or related STEM degreeExperience with missile components and systemsExperience with signal processing techniquesExperience with running and modifying simulations and performing analysisExperience with radar and/or EO/IR environment modelsExperience with hardware/software integrationAbility tdevelop and present technical briefingsAbility twork well alone or as part of a teamGood communication, interaction, planning and time management skillsExperience managing others as a technical lead, team lead or similar role involving applied system engineering and analysis and interfacing with multiple engineering disciplinesCoursework or experience in some of the following fields: radar signal processing, digital communications, probability and statistics, linear algebra, and signals & systemsCurrent DoD security clearance or SSBIYears of Experience Required (if any):With a Bachelor''s degree listed below, you must have five (5) years or more of documented work and/or academic experience in the following areas oEducation Level Required:Bachelor''s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or a related STEM degree - provided by Dice
