Students graduate high school and successfully transition to college and career as critically conscious leaders, committed to positive change for themselves and their communities. YouthBuild Philly has created a model program providing a combination of academic, work-based and leadership training to youth who are disconnected from school and work. Since its inception in 1992, more than 2900 young adults have earned a high school diploma and vocational certification through our program, and together these young adults rehabilitated 89 houses for low-income families and provided thousands of hours of community service.Member Duties : We are looking for someone with strong spirit of service, communication skills, and a commitment to empowering young people. This VISTA position will grow and deepen recruitment partnerships, develop recruitment materials (print, digital, video), and create a new tracking system for referral partners.
