Junior LabVIEW/TestStand Software Engineer

Description: Job Title: Junior LabVIEW/TestStand Software Engineer Job Code: SAS20222607-87413 Job Location: Palm Bay, FL Job Description: Candidate will fill the role of LabVIEW and/or TestStand Software Engineer within our Test Development organization. The candidate will be responsible for developing test software hosted on in-house designed test stations. Candidate will write drivers for test equipment and code tests used to validate hardware from circuit cards, to sub-system components and up to space vehicles. Candidate will generate required documentation including analysis and design trade studies, as well as participate in major design gate reviews including PDR and CDR. This role will require the creation of creative solutions and will require the interaction between multiple functional disciplines, including quality, product design and systems engineering, in order to meet program milestones and financial objectives. Generate all associated documentation and analysis. Support major program design reviews. Support software build, integration, validation, sell-off and post sell-off anomaly investigations. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0 years of prior related experience. Preferred Additional Skills: Experience with avionics or space hardware test. Experience in RF test and measurement. Experience with National Instruments Test Equipment. Experience with Jira/Bit Bucket/Confluence. National Instruments development certifications. Experience with LabVIEW and/or TestStand. Experience developing software artifacts and presenting at major design gate reviews. Experience using source control tools.
