Senior Oracle Database DeveloperLocation: Whippany, NJ (the candidate needs to be based out of Whippany, NJ or ready to be relocated, NO REMOTE Work)US-400 Jefferson Park, Whippany, NJDuration: 12 MonthsNumber of positions: 1The overall purpose of the roleThis is a Sr. Oracle Database developer role that will be responsible for the development and implementation of transactional database modeling and scripting in FCT-IAM.Good experience in build, implement and maintain the databases solution for our control environment which includes Performance tuning and Exception Management.Should have the ability to work directly with the Developers, Business Analysts and Testers in development and implementation.Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:Basic QualificationsBS/MS degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related subject10+ Years of experience with Databases.5+ Years of experience working with Oracle projects.2+ years of working experience in Oracle 19c or higher version.Strong PL-SQL and stored procedures skills.Strong knowledge of stored procedures, database triggers, indexes, partitioningFamiliarity with reading Query Execution Plans with the ability to evaluate and improve performance characteristics of SQL.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal skillsStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving and performance tuning skills.Experience in delivering projects through Agile methodologies.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Must be a good team player and able to work alone and with othersDesirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:Preferred Qualifications and Skills Knowledge in Big Data and Hadoop eco systems, including Spark.
