We are currently hiring for:Job Title Procurement ManagerJob Summary: The Procurement Manager is responsible for managing our live bird program and scheduling for the harvest facility in West Liberty, Iowa. The program includes but is not limited to building partnerships with our WLF grower/owners, managing the USDA Residue Avoidance Program and State of Iowa AVian Influenza Testing Regulations as well as determining payment for delivered birds in conjunction with contracts in place.Primary Responsibilities:Schedule 13 week plan, detailed weekly plan, head weight, loading, and transportation.Ensure testing is completed in compliance with the USDA Residue Avoidance Program and the State of Iowa Avian Influenza Testing munication regarding all testing requirements.Calculate flock settlements to ensure proper payment is made for each flock delivered to the facility.Create reporting to determine flock performance and financial impacts.Project poult placements and complete comparison to actual results.Provide specific supplemental information for individual contracts. Distribute and track completed agreements.Manage all flocks in QAD System and provide updates as needed.Participate in placement committee activities.Other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:Minimum of 5 years of related experience is preferred in scheduling or similar fields.Bachelor''s Degree in a related field or equivalent is puter experience with Gmail and Google Suite platform.Knowledge of UltiPro or other timekeeping systems is a benefit.Must be able to problem solve.Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.Ability to lead, motivate and develop others.Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed.Coaching and performance management experience is a plus.Candidates must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug and background screen.West Liberty Foods is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
