Technical Lead - Site ServicesAvailable to start ASAPProject duration: 6 months (extendable)Location: US and Canada (remote eligible) If the candidate is local to the SF Bay area, will need to follow company guidelines on coming to the campus. Responsibilities:Develop, configure, enhance, integrate and/or support software computer systems, business applications, data management systems, and/or other programmable or configurable software components.Partner with architect, system owners and cross functional teams to brainstorm and finalize architecture and design.May need to act as technical liaison with vendors on solutioning and make sure industry standard practices are followed.Work with the IT security team to present the system architecture, integration touch points and design to procure necessary approvals.Knowledgeable on OWASP standards and able to think through security vulnerabilities.Document production release runbooks and own the release activities.Apply current technology, tools and techniques toward solving business problems.Generally requires knowledge of information technology and functional or business area processes and requirements.Solutions may involve design, implementation, code reviews, testing, debugging, performance tuning, documentation, validation, and support.Implementation may involve development of operating procedures and/or training of service personnel and end usersTranslate business requirements into maintainable software components.Understand business drivers and processes.Identify risks and dependencies and work on mitigation plansWork with limited supervision and some guidance.Work with little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on new projects or terface with Senior Software Developers, Architects, product owners, Operations leads, Project managers/scrum masters etc.May need to oversee and lead the work of other contractor software developers.RequirementsBachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field5 - 7 years of overall experience in programming, database development, business intelligence, software testing, etc.Knowledge of website security, OWASP vulnerabilities and best practicesExperience with API based integration and security (SOAP and RestFul) - Mulesoft preferredKnowledge of UML diagrams and able to describe the architecture and design diagramsKnowledge of Cloud infrastructure setup is plusExperience with Cloudflare, google suite integrations (gCal, Gdrive) is a plusExperience with implementing authentication with SAML, Single Sign On, etc.Knowledge of Windows/Linux Commands is a plusKnowledge of F5 Load balancer, Network concepts - DNS, firewall is a plusGood understanding of database conceptsKnowledge of SQL, MySQL, Oracle is a plusJosh - provided by Dice
