Job Description Job Title: Spa ManagerDepartment: Field OperationsDirect Reports: All Spa AssociatesWhat a day in the life of a Westlake Ace Hardware Spa Manager looks like:Provide positive representation of Westlake Ace HardwareEnsure a positive, professional and safe work environment for all associatesEnsure compliance with all practices, policies and procedures necessary to manage inventory shrinkResponsible for the P & LManage and support the hiring, scheduling, reviewing, rewarding and coaching of all spa store associatesActively recruit and promote the advancement of Westlake Ace Hardware associatesBecome an integral part of the community in which you live and work through civic organizations and being community mindedChallenge all associates to think of ways to better merchandise product, control expenses and increase salesLead by example; be approachable by all associates and customersProven experience in a managerial roleStrong decision-making capabilitiesAbove-average communication, collaboration, and delegation skillsStrong ability to motivate and lead peopleWorking knowledge of the Spa Business, deliveries, installation, and repairsCOVID-19 considerations:At Westlake Ace Hardware all Associates are adhering to Local, State and Federal guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19.Requirements Minimum Skills, Requirements and Qualifications•High School or GED equivalent.•Previous retail management experience preferred. Hardware experience preferred.•Standing, walking, lifting (up to 25lbs) and climbing.
