Foundry Plant Manager

*_Neenah Foundry is hiring immediately for a Foundry Plant Manager!_*_The __Foundry Plant_ _Manager provides leadership to a team of salary exempt and union employees in a continuous process Foundry manufacturing environment. The GM is responsible for ensuring safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, and profitability metrics are met through proper coaching and supervision of employees. The GM will plan, direct, and coordinate all aspects of the operation of the Core, Molding, Melt, and Finishing departments._*_Foundry_** _Plant Manager Essential Functions_*_Job duties may change over time and additional job functions may become essential. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions._* _Embody the Company Mission, Vision, and Values_* _Lead, coach, and mentor Production Managers and Supervisors to achieve goals, solve problems and provide a safe work environment_* _Own the Safety Culture of the site and work collaboratively with Managers, Supervisors, and supporting departments including HR and EHS_* _Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures_* _Plan and direct production activities, while considering operation needs and cost factors_* _Drive production goals and develop organizational structures to support customer on-time delivery requirements and production demand_* _Work with SIOP and scheduling to develop and revise production schedules and priorities as a result of customer requirements, equipment failure, or operating problems_* _Ensure process corrective actions are addressed in a timely manner and are effective in solving the issue_* _Work with HR and recruiting to ensure proper staffing levels, work schedules, and work centers, based on production needs and capacity_* _Troubleshoot processes and/or procedures to find the root cause of an issue and find a resolution_* _Set and attain departmental goals regarding Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Profitability KPIs on a regular basis_* _Control labor, material, and supply utilization. Successful performance in the role will require performing satisfactorily other duties as assigned._*_Foundry _**_Plant Manager Education and Experience Requirements_** _Bachelor''s Degree in a business, engineering, operations management, or related field and 7-10 years of increasingly responsible operations leadership experience_* _Experience in manufacturing ideally in Foundry or Fabricated Metal Products production required_* _Experience in heavy manufacturing and a unionized environment is a plus._* _Candidates with an Associate degree and substantial and directly related work experience may also be considered_*_Foundry _**_Plant Manager Physical Requirements_*_Use minimal amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects__Must be able to inspect equipment including cranes, cupola, emission systems, confined spaces, heights, climb multiple ladders and stairs__The worker must be able to access, analyze and otherwise work with and enter information stored in or obtained through the company''s computer system, and to communicate effectively with co-workers and third parties who have business dealings with the Company''s operations._*_Foundry _**_Plant Manager Travel Requirements_*_Up to 10% travel is required._*Candidates for positions with NEI, Neenah Foundry Company, and its subsidiaries must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
