A culture driven by our people, over 30,000 strong, serving our clients with customized solutions that will protect them and fuel their futures.Role SummaryThe Regional Technical Analyst (RTA) M&A role is to assist with Merger and Acquisition projects by providing dedicated support to the M&A Project Managers with site survey and due diligence, asset procurement and setup, as well as vendor management. M&A RTA will ensure proper site preparation for computer operations so that end users can accomplish organizational tasks at the new sites. M&A RTA will assist with decommissioning the sites and work closely with related GTS Operational Teams integration specific tasks and or incident remediation. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively escalating any issues related to M&A Integrations or closing sites.Key Responsibilities:Project-based IT work that implements a broadest range of IT equipment relating to Mergers and Acquisitions, including network equipment, servers, terminals, personal computers, cabling, and related software productsActing as technical point and infrastructure escalation for all M&A IntegrationsInvestigates hardware problems and performs minor system hardware and communication connection repairsActs as facility lead on technical project implementations; coordinates infrastructure-based needs for facility based new construction, real estate moves or office closuresParticipates in M&A project meetings, committees and continuing education to improve individual, departmental and organizational performanceParticipates in facility-based IT project planning and budgeting, as neededEffectively works with Regional and other GTS personnel to ensure that division priorities and standards are achievedAdheres to and supports GTS standards, policies and proceduresPerforms other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor''s degree in information systems or three years of IT experienceMust have an executive presence and excellent communication skills. Will be dealing with associate level to executive - both in person and on the phoneDemonstrates broad knowledge of technology and solutionsUnderstanding of diverse technologies including VMWare, HP Hardware, Windows 2008/2012, Active Directory, and CitrixProactively manages resources and priorities workloadDemonstrated ability to multi-task; Possesses strong analytical skillsEffectively communicates verbally and in writingProvides onsite technology support on projectsMust be able to drive to assigned sites to complete workWork ConditionsOvertime may be required in meet project deadlinesSitting for extended periods of timeDexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other devices and objectsPhysically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetingsTravel is required for meeting with clients, stakeholders on or off-site personnel/management (70%)Valid state drivers licenseU.S. Eligibility Requirements:Interested candidates must submit an application and resume/CV online to be consideredAre you 18 years of age or older or can you demonstrate legal capacity to enter a contract?Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigationMust have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
