The right candidate provides advanced software development support to a project via the creation, maintenance, and enforcement of software development processes. Produces overarching software design, including detailed design of all subsystems, interfaces, and communications protocols. Collaborates in an interdisciplinary environment with system and network engineers, data management specialists, and information security specialists to ensure software solutions all requirements and engage in project-wide risk management. May oversee the work of less experienced Engineers.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Contribute to architecting cloud based solutions and leading in their development Participate effectively in cross-organization collaboration Implement best-practice development, CI/CD, and security processes.Experience leading an Agile process with software development and collaboration tools (e.g. Atlassian). Strong technical leadership experience, including tactical planning and leading technical team members.Great interpersonal and communication skills Qualifications:Bachelor s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics preferred7+ years of professional experience in software developmentSolidNode.jsand/or Python experienceREST APIs and OpenAPI (Swagger) experienceStrong understanding of microservice architectures, Docker and containerizationExperience leading 2+ architecture migration across technology stacksStrong understanding of SQL and NoSQL DBsSolid understanding of CI/CDArtificial intelligence, machine learning, data science experience a plusExperience with UML a plusTime series database experience a plusIoT experience a plusMust be authorized to work in the United StatesElevation is committed to fairness and equality of opportunity in the workplace.
