We sincerely hope you will consider being part of o ur success. Information Technology Services (ITS), currently has an opening for an IT Network Engineer III position in our Chinden office in Boise. This position provides critical network engineering and support services across a broad range of enterprise class networks serving a multitude of state agencies. This position will manage, troubleshoot, and implement complex computer, data, voice and video networking infrastructure; including network administration, installation and maintenance of network infrastructure; provide leadership in the design, enhancement, implementation, and consultation on complex enterprise networks, support, manage, maintain, troubleshoot and design datacenter, SD-WAN (Software Defined), local-area (LAN) and wide-area networks (WAN); perform related work.The selected individual must possess an in-depth knowledge of a wide range of advanced network technologies and operating practices in order to manage and maintain 24/7/365 network operations. This position will administer advanced network management systems, manage network performance, troubleshoot network problems and coordinate and implement expanded, new, and upgraded networks across the State.This job announcement will remain open until the position has been filled.
