Systems Engineer III with Security Clearance

MIKEL Inc. is seeking an Analysis Journeyman with at least 5 years of experience in SONAR Performance Analysis, MATLAB Programming, Acoustics, Oceanographic and Atmospheric Master Library (OAML) Models and Databases Knowledge. This job necessitates an extensive math background and the ability to work well with others in a team setting. Job location is at NUWC Division Newport Campus in Newport RI. Duties: Perform in depth, detailed Sonar Engineering Modeling and analysis on emerging sensors and arrays.Generate Engineering documentation on findings from Modeling Analysis.Deliver/Present findings from engineering analysis and studies to NUWC staff and Sponsors.Assist in identifying opportunities for strategic growth and participate in market surveys as a key contributor.Model, process, and analyze SONAR test and operational data in order to assess performanceperform post-test reconstruction and analysis to assess SONAR system performance compared with test objectives and system technical requirements. Skills: Ability to provide high attention to detail to ensure accuracy of dataSonar array Modeling and SimulationMust have analytical skills, excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills, customer service. Experience: Bachelor''s Degree in a STEM field is required5 years minimum experience requiredExperience with design and analysis for SONAR Sensors & Arrays.Experience with Research and Development for electronics and fiber optic systems for advanced development model Sonar Arrays. Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
