LSSI is hiring a full-time SASS Counselor/Case Manager-Mobile Crisis,Monday through Friday. To screen children and adults for psychiatric hospitalization and provide intensive short term services to ensure stabilization.*Thisposition complies with the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) rule, which requires that employees working in certain programs are fully vaccinated unless you have a medicalor religious exemption. The trainingand support you need to learn, grow, and succeed Opportunity for advancement!Essential Functions: Assess children, Adolescents, and/or adults in psychiatric crisis for hospitalization and facilitate hospitalization at location of need. Provide crisis counseling and coordination to help stabilize current psychiatric crisis if client does not meet criteria for inpatient hospitalization. Maintain client record in the electronic health record in accordance with licensure and accreditation standards. Certification in IM CAT and/or IM CANS. HFS required trainings (De-escalation, Crisis Safety Planning, Mobile Crisis). Provide training to new staff on mobile crisis screening events as needed. Provide intensive short term community based counseling and case management services to clients. Community outreach. Complete application for benefits (as needed). Maintain completion of screenings and progress notes within 48 business hours.Position Qualifications: Bachelors degree;in social service field, Masterspreferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work with clients in the community. Valid drivers'' license, proof of valid vehicle insurance, and access to a fully insured vehicle.
