An Excellent Opportunity for IT Project Manager to work with ''Fortune 100'' Financial client for the McLean, VA location Experience:Governance team is responsible for stabilizing frameworks and governance around managing projectsResponsible for Governance, escalation, communication with stakeholder and risk ManagersHelping in Change manager processPreparing executive level reportsMaintaining issue delivery lifecycle framework (in process to create framework)Working similar to a PMO operations, will provide structure and support for projectsOrganized, MS project tools, self-LernerData aggregation, quality checks, making sure information is accurate in reportsOut of box thinkingOverall understanding of IT framework operationsCurrently in Waterfall but candidate should have Agile/ Scrum ExpUnderstanding technology riskProject manager issue delivery - Managing end to end delivery of projects partnering with risk and stakeholdersDeep understanding of PM methodologiesOwn and drive issue with closersDeveloping project plans, tracking milestone and making sure deliverables are achieved.Creating weekly status reportAttention to detailsAny tech expBanking/Finance experience would be a plus To apply for this position and setup an interview with the client please click on apply and send in your resume along with your contact info.
