ResponsibilitiesWellstone Regional Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility located in Jeffersonville, Indiana and has been providing quality health care to the residents of Southern Indiana and the Louisville area since 2003. Wellstone specializes in the treatment of Adolescents, Children, Adults, and the CD population. In addition to our in-patient services, we offer out-patient programs as well. Wellstone is seeking a dynamic and talented Registered Nurse PRN.The Registered Nurse is a registered professional nurse who delivers, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. The Staff Nurse must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served. Non-exempt hourly position.QualificationsEducation: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor''s Degree preferred. Experience: A minimum of two (2) years experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred but NOT required. New Grads welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Indiana State Board of Nursing. Additional Requirements: CPR certification, CPI & appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint prior to assisting in a restraining process.
