As a diversified, national organization, you''ll have access to competitive benefits including a fresh perspective on workplace flexibility.Position Purpose: Manage the recruitment and negotiation of provider and/or vendor contracts in accordance with company and state guidelinesManage recruitment of regional and/or national providers and/or vendors in accordance with corporate, health plan, and state guidelines for assigned regionsDefine, initiate, and direct operational reporting for the assigned functions including establishing goals, metrics, etcCollaborate with new business contracting departments to identify and develop provider networks utilizing provider and vendor agreementsNegotiate provider or vendor contracts, manage implementations and foster ongoing relationshipsManage contract modifications, coordinating with local health plans, legal and other applicable internal teamsInitiate and lead meetings with health plans and corporate teams, including executive management, to review vendor and provider agreement performance data and scorecards, and partnership strategyDelaware only:Support health plan telehealth and rural contracting and network development strategies, and work collaboratively with telehealth and rural health plan business owners and ensure regulatory requirements are met.Our Comprehensive Benefits Package:Flexible work solutions including remote options, hybrid work schedules and dress flexibilityCompetitive payPaid Time Off including paid holidaysHealth insurance coverage for you and dependents401(k) and stock purchase plansTuition reimbursement and best-in-class training and developmentEducation/Experience: Bachelor''s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, related field or equivalent experience. 5+ years of contracting, contract analysis, provider relations, or provider experience, preferably in a hospital, physician''s office, physician group or ancillary services setting. Experience in project management, managed care, State and/or Federal health programs and working knowledge of contracting language and principles of negotiation.
