On site, manufacturers rely on our expertise in providing full management of these gases, advanced molecules and equipment and in helping to continuously improve production processes.Air Liquide Operations Total Gas & Chemical Management (TGCM) (group provides our semiconductor manufacturing customers with on site safe, reliable, and cost-effective management of the gases and chemicals needed on a daily basis in the production of electronics materials. This service requires operating and maintaining gas and chemical distribution equipment and systems 24/7 without issue or interruption.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and operate liquid bulk and specialty gas/chemical delivery equipmentPerform advanced gas/chemical troubleshooting and repair of delivery equipmentPerform daily rounds including recording readings, completing safety inspections, monitoring online gas and chemical systems, verifying toxic gas monitoring operations, and completing chemical tote/drum and gas cylinder change-outsVerify that daily rounds are recorded. Determine corrective action to be taken in the event of abnormal parameters and ensure that corrective action is completed.Monitor and understand correct liquid bulk delivery procedures for each product on sitePerform bulk gas and chemical trailer transfersOversee the installation, facilitation, and start-up of all high purity gas and/or chemical delivery equipmentEnsure that an accurate and complete gas and chemical inventory is maintained. Evaluate trends in monthly gas and chemical usage.Provide information for and initiate proper reporting procedures per on-site policies including, but not limited to: Quality Incident Reports, product acceptance, tank fill, inventory and material usage, bulk gas analysis, analyzer calibration, monitoring, safety parameters, and personnel requirementsAssist in the identification and resolution of gas/chemical-related manufacturing problemsAct as Emergency Response Team member/leaderSatisfactorily complete TGCM Tech 8 local OJT and qualification requirements within 12 months in jobIssue Hazardous Work PermitsAct as primary customer shift interfaceRestart all high purity gas and/or chemical delivery equipmentParticipate in customer and Air Liquide programs including, but not limited to: Safety, Training, Operations, and Preventive MaintenanceSupport training of TGCM contractors and TGCM Tech 5, 6 & 7 employeesDevelop and maintain applicable site-specific work instructionsComply with all applicable HS&E Standards including, but not limited to: PPE, Forklift Operations, Lock Out/Tag Out Program, Confined Space Entry, etc.Supervise on-site operations in absence of ManagerGenerate site-specific reports and consolidate data as requested by ManagementComplete assigned tasks per existing proceduresPerform minor analytical procedures and/or sampling proceduresAccountable for the safety of all persons, and general public surrounding facilitiesHazardous Waste Technician (at applicable operations locations):Ensure proper transfer of materials to the dock hazardous waste storage area, including utilization of appropriate maintenance, documentation, equipment, labeling, and procedures.Follow proper procedures for handling spills/emergencies, pour-up of materials, segregation of compatible materials, preparation for waste/containers for shipment, and forklift operationSupport waste minimization programs/activities, and maintain understanding of applicable hazardous waste lawsRequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED5+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong communication skillsAbility to follow both written and verbal instructionsEvidence of previous work in a successful team environmentKnowledge of all proper reporting procedures per onsite operations policy, including product acceptance criteria, tank fill, inventory and material usage, monitoring, safety parameters and personnel requirements.Demonstrate ability to coordinate and supervise a group of technicians on a projectElectro-mechanical aptitudeDisplay aptitude for controlling an emergency situation and coordinating problem solving actionsAble to understand and abide by stringent safety rulesDemonstrate ability to train junior techniciansPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift 40 lbsAbility to stand/walk up to 10 hours per dayAbility to operate hydraulic foot pump (55 gallon drums - drums could be up to 500 lbs)Job requires constant bending to successfully complete shift tasks (validating information, checking systems, etc.)Ability to wear a respirator as part of required PPE for certain job tasksPreferred QualificationsExperience in the semiconductor or chemical/specialty gas field, military technical/electronic rating or nuclear field, or equivalent industry.
