For more information, visit Summary of Purpose:Responsible for designing, developing, testing, delivering, and maintaining API''s making use of existing technical capabilities and services in the enterprise as well as Cloud services. Align new solutions to the current architectural principles, development standards and integration framework in the organization. Work collaboratively within and across development and project teams in a fast-paced work environment. Development experience should include extensive Agile, Cloud and Azure design and development experience.ResponsibilitiesJob Responsibilities:Design and develop solutions that meet the business needs of the organization using modern tools and techniques Working knowledge of Health Insurance Payer, Provider, Financial Services industry Fully engage with business and IT partners to address needs. Use your acumen and design skills to translate technical details into business terms and vice versa. Foster strong working relationships across the organization and within technology to drive the development of integration capabilities and overall technology strategy and goals. Design solutions with the Integration team using cloud technologies and appropriate leading-edge technologies.Creating, maintaining and versioning API''s in the management layer.Use and examine current transformation technologies such as XML, JSON, CSV and SQL.Cultivate relationships with stakeholders and proactively communicate architectural decisions, plans, goals and strategies to the stakeholders in IT and the business.QualificationsEducation:Bachelor''s in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalentLicenses/Certifications:N/AExperience:7+ years of experience of design, build, and testing experience in a large enterprise environment7+ years API or application development7+ year developing in C, .NET Framework 4.x3+ Working experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS services (e.g. SQL Server, Azure Functions)3+ Experience developing REST API using WEB API 2.0. Object Oriented Programming, DI, Generics, Observable using Type ScriptProficient in Node.js and Angular-CLI platform, NPM ScriptsHands on experience using and developing REST APIs using micro services architectureWorking knowledge of distributed enterprise architecture.Strong understanding of Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Swagger (API documentation) or similar technologies.Working knowledge of relational databases such as MS SQL Server or similar technologiesWorking knowledge of various source control technologies such as Azure DevOps, GitHub and GitWorking knowledge of CI/CD and automated testing.Working knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodology.Ability to visualize, articulate, and solve problems to make informed decisions as well as organize and analyze a solution as part of a whole and its individual components.Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral communications.Respond well to change; handle multiple demands / priorities effectively; adapt to best fit with situation at hand; handle conflict effectively; willing to accept new responsibilities; take initiative and be accountable.Team Player and Cross-team collaborationFallon Health Vaccination Requirements:To protect the health and safety of our workforce, members and communities we serve, Fallon Health now requires all employees to disclose COVID-19 vaccination status.
