Position Summary:We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for improving and maintaining Change Healthcare software development, test and live infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, articulate, have experience with Linux and other *NIX derivatives, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced software development environment.Your primary mission as a DevOps Engineer is working closely with the Development, Technical Operations, Quality Assurance, and Product Management teams to automate the infrastructure and application development and deployments and to ensure the uptime and the high performance of Change Healthcare platforms.Responsibilities:Create Infrastructure as Code automation for infrastructure and application deploymentsOwn the build and release process of CHC applications and improve existing Terraform or Cloud Formation templatesWork with Engineering and QE teams on implementing and automating the build, release and deployment of CHC applicationsSupport Change Healthcare mission critical platform services in production and development environmentsIdentify and drive improvements in infrastructure and system reliability, performance, monitoring, and overall stability of the platformBuild tools and automation that eliminate repetitive tasks and prevent incident occurrenceCreate and maintain operational runbooks and documentationParticipate in 24x7 operational support and on-call rotation shiftsQualifications:B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experienceMinimum of 5 years of DevOps experience in production environments and IaaS automationProficiency working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) like EC2, EMR, EBS, ELB/ALB, ECS, EKS, ECR, KMS, S3, Route 53, RDS, VPC in a highly available and scalable production environmentExperience with configuring, managing and supporting AWS environments and servicesExperience with continuous integration and deployment automation tools such as Git runner, Jenkins, Harness, AWS CloudFormation, Salt, or Puppet, Chef, Ansible, TerraformExperience implementing monitoring and alerting solutions using AWS CloudWatch and CloudTrailPrometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty, GolangExperience integrating existing and new applications with various monitoring tools (DataDog, Moogsoft, Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty, xMatters) and designing appropriate alerts to avoid downtimeExperience with source control tools such as Git / GitHub / GitLabSystematic problem-solving approach and strong sense of ownership to drive problems to resolutionExperience configuring and managing web servers (Apache, Tomcat, Nginx) and RESTful Web service applicationsStrong knowledge of Linux systems administration and architectureExperience documenting processes, systems, environments and runbook proceduresScripting experience with Shell, Python, Golang or Ruby.
