Hospitalist Physician

We have an opportunity for a BE/BC Internal Medicine Physician to join our well-established Hospital Medicine service at University of Maryland at Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, Maryland. This is a full time position with a flexible block schedule of 14 days per 28-day block.Our hospitalist team provides inpatient care within the hospital setting, including admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds and planning for discharge.Follow all established policies for maintenance and signing of medical recordsContribute to the achievement of department goals and adhere to policies, procedures, and quality and safety standardsSubmit accurate and timely charges for all professional services performedREQUIREMENTSBE/BC in Internal MedicineStrong inpatient skill setQuality-focused team playerExperience working with advanced practice providersExcellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills Ability to function effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team Effective oral and written communication skills Commitment to providing exceptional patient careActive state license, American Heart Association CPR Certification, DEA License, state Controlled Substance RegistrationABOUT US - ADFINITAS HEALTHAdfinitas Health is a rapidly growing and multispecialty medicalpractice.
