Description TMIT Engineer Analyst SME, Electrical San Diego, CA Responsibilities: Perform as an Engineer Analyst SME, Electrical for Commander Naval Surface Forces Pacific TYCOM Material Inspection Team (TMIT). The Engineer Analyst will conduct material checks on respective functional area-related equipment and systems in support of TYCOM Readiness Evaluation (READ-E) inspections and assist visits. As an Electrical SME, you will be responsible for assessing the material condition of the Electrical functional area through the execution of a series of material checks delineated in INSURV Inspection Guides (IIG). As a SME, you will provide instruction to shipboard Sailors in the proper execution of the INSURV SOE and material checks during Assist Visits. As a TMIT inspector, you will record all identified deficiencies in TMIT final report template using the INSURV writing guide format. Requirements: * High School Degree * Must be a US Citizen with a Secret Clearance * 20 years of documented hands-on Navy shipboard Electrical experience. * Three (3) at sea tours working in an Electrical capacity. * Experience operating and maintaining Electrical related equipment and support systems. * Qualified EPCC operator Desired: * Experience as an Inspector for the U.S. Navy Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV). * Experience as an inspector at the Afloat Training Group or TYCOM staff focusing on Pre-INSURV preparations ORBIS offers an excellent benefits package and competitive salary in a professional atmosphere.
