Job Number: R0147259 Full Stack Software Engineer, MidThe Challenge: Are you looking for an opportunity to not just develop sof tware, but to develop new sof tware in response to changing needs, integrating new te chn ologies, data sources, and protocols? As a full-stack developer, you can solve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast-paced, Agile environment. We''re looking for a developer to work across different Army stakeholders to understand the needs of different communities and produce tools that meet user requirements. Innovate new solutions to challenging data management problems under constrained resource environments and incorporate feedback from users to evolve the capability over time. This role is more than just coding. We need a full-stack developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and te chn iques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. On our team, you''ll help customers overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches and communicate effectively with the team, government leadership, te chn ical engineering reps, vendors, and warfighters, both virtually and in person, and have strong conceptual knowledge of s of tware development processes and te chn ologies, including testing, documentation, and deployment. Using an array of development languages, including Java and C, you''ll produce high quality, secure, and performant sof tware prototypes that transition smoothly into full deployment. You''ll analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you''re developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely. Work with us as we build systems to change our Army client for the better. You Have: * 5+ years of experience with sof tware engineering * 3+ years of experience with an object-oriented language * Experience with REST, Open API, and service architectures, C or C++, virtualization and containers, and managing databases * Experience with Linux scripting frameworks and implementations * Experience with managing and using version control systems working within test-driven development and operational feedback * Experience with Micro sof t PowerShell * Knowledge of group policy implementation operations * Secret clearance * Bachelor''s degree Nice If You Have: * Experience supporting DoD or military programs * Ability to present data findings and recommendations to senior leaders across the organization * Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
