The Position: We''re seeking a certified veterinary technician to join our team. This is a full-time position (30-40 hours/week). Some late-evening and weekend availability is required. Essential Duties: The ideal candidate will be able to: Demonstrate proficiency with triage, medical math, animal handling, radiography, collecting laboratory specimens, running in-house laboratory tests, IV catheter placement, IV fluid administration, general nursing care and patient monitoring, monitoring of patients under sedation and anesthesia, administration of oral, injectable, and topical medication, and other tasks related to patient diagnosis and treatment Make accurate and efficient medical record entries in the practice management software Communicate comfortably with clients regarding their pet''s healthCommunicate comfortably with clients regarding financial aspects of careAssist veterinarians with euthanasia and preparation of animals for cremation servicesDisplay flexibility in working with the entire clinical team to achieve optimal workflowAbility to lift and carry animals and inventory Full job description to be provided prior to interviewQualifications: Active CVT license Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with a diverse population Dependable attendance Basic working knowledge of computer software programsBenefits: Salary range: $25-29/hourFlexible schedulingPaid time offPaid sick leaveUniform allowanceCE allowance401K planHealth and dental insurancePersonal pet care discountPlease contact [Click Here to Email Your Resumé]with any questions.
