Close out your work day with skiing, fishing, hiking, biking, and much more!Job Description:This is a Level 1 position that opens the door for growth and future opportunities. In this role you will be working alongside Level 2 Programmers and Engineers with the installation, startup, and commissioning of automated industrial control systems. You will have times in which you are working independently and others in which you are assisting a Team member who may be on a job site. You may be responsible for writing cradle to commissioned code depending on job complexity and the field, you will act as the technical resource for Electrical Technicians offering guidance on control wiring solutions, VFD programming, network layout, instrument scaling, and site commissioning as a whole. You will also need to have some basic radio skills to troubleshoot communication issues over remote telemetry systems. You should have a basic grasp of HMI programming. In this role, you will receive ongoing training with the goal of moving up in the company because they strongly believe in promoting from within. As your skill set increases so will your opportunities within the company! We are looking for candidates that want to grow their career in industrial controls and have a strong drive to learn.Required Skills:Bachelor''s degree in electrical engineering or related area. (In lieu of degree, will consider an equivalent combination of work experience, training, and related education)Basic understanding of PLC wiring and programming.Understanding syncing vs. sourcing and having high proficiency in working with 4-20mA analog loops.Ability to read and modify electrical schematics. Basic familiarity with NEC standards.Familiarity with calibrating and programming instrumentsFamiliarity with programming and commissioning VFDsShould be proficient with Ladder Logic and program layoutFamiliarity with SCADA/HMI programming platforms such as iFix, Wonderware, Factory Talk Ignition and RedLion.Basic networking capabilitiesHigh proficiency with Windows Operating Systems and associated packages e.g. Excel, Word, OutlookUnderstanding of telemetry systems utilizing UHF, VHF, ISM 900, and IEC 802.11xx is a huge plus.Strong problem-solving and research abilities.Ability to work independently or as part of a team to design, develop and modify software control systemsAble to lift 80 poundsAbility to travel 30% to assist on sites*Must have a valid unrestricted Driver''s License.*Note this position requires a mix of field and office time and requires travel, mostly within the state of Colorado.Pay Range: $32.00-42.00 per hour (Depending on experience)Why work here?
