By focusing R&D efforts on four therapeutic areas and other targeted investments, we push the boundaries of what is possible in order to bring life-changing therapies to patients worldwide.Join Takeda as a Engineer IV where you will work with scientists or engineers in the process development team and independently plan and execute chromatography/filtration optimization and characterization experiments. Additionally, the position may lead the tech transfer of developed/locked downstream processes to pilot team and CMOs, and technology innovation programs. Independently plan and coordinate work with departmental and cross functional peers with an understanding of project timelines and deliverables. You will also identify complex technical issues and implement solutions. As part of the process development team, you will report to Associate Director, Process Development Downstream.How you will contribute:Independently prepare and execute complex experimental protocols.Review, interpret data and communicate results to impacted line terpret data independently and present to the team or department.Draft technical reports, presentations, and tech transfer documents. May be primary contact for consolidation of technical transfer documents and on-site support of technical issues.Support technology transfer through documentation, meeting, and person-in-plant.Contribute to project work which may include multiple projects within functional area.Coordinate within department and cross functionally with peers on pliant to lab safety and company policies, participates in lab management duties.Troubleshoot critical issues and resolve routine issues using appropriate information.Exercise time management.Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:Associates degree in chemistry, biology, pharmacy, engineering or related pharmaceutical science and 7+ years relevant industry experience.Bachelor''s degree in chemistry, biology, pharmacy, engineering or related pharmaceutical science; 5+ years relevant industry experience.Master''s degree in chemistry, biology, pharmacy, engineering or related pharmaceutical science; 3+ years relevant industry experience.Previous experience working in lab setting.
