The Senior Project Manager - Civil Engineer (Land and Site Development) is responsible for driving the production and engineering of civil construction and land development documents for permitting while upholding and strengthening Austin Civil Engineering standards for client services. They will be responsible for leading the Land and Site Development production teams to deliver civil engineering services on time according to the production schedule they develop and manage at project kick off. They will have lots of interaction with clients, planning offices, and production team, so they need to immediately demonstrate that they are extremely organized in their work and excellent communicators. The Project Manager position can also include proposal pipeline, managing and maintenance of client accounts regarding contracts, budgets, billing and manage and cultivate marketing opportunities within your assigned projects and clients. The PE is expected to also excel at project management and prioritize relationships with client and colleagues, along with using their experience and expertise in land development and site plan engineering in Central Texas to teach and lead our team and clients through each project.Knowledgeable in water resources and technical experience with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS and AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred in order to complete calculations of Drainage Volume and Pond Design.Required Work Experience: • 3-5+ years of experience in land and site development, civil engineering, and design in Central Texas •Texas Professional Engineer Registration Required •Project management experience, including contracting and scheduling •Experience leading civil production teams • Team Oriented, and familiar with working with remote teams • Strong communication, problem solving and critical thinking skills • Relationship oriented and seeking to lead • Proven experience permitting through City of Austin and TCEQ • Working knowledge of Civil 3D, HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS • Fluent in Spanish a plus
