POSITION SUMMARY/PURPOSETo provide pharmaceutical care by performing medication-related distributive, clinical, educational functions as well as directly overseeing discretionary tasks performed by pharmacy technicians.QUALIFICATIONSLicense /CertificationRequired:Current California Registered Pharmacist licenseEducationRequired:Pharm. D. degreeExperienceRequired:Inpatient: Completed PGY-1 residency or at least two years clinical hospital pharmacist experience or current Kaweah Health Pharmacy Resident.Outpatient: Completed PGY-1 residency or at least two years clinical pharmacist experience or current Kaweah Health Pharmacy Resident.Preferred:Three years experience.Department Specific RequirementsIf assigned as the Emergency Medicine Pharmacist Specialist: requires one year of Emergency Department pharmacy experience and/or one year of hospital based clinical pharmacist experience in the critical care setting. Prefer completion of a pharmacy residency program in Emergency Medicine or Critical Care, PGY2.This position is for Emergency Room position Variable Shifts with 50% shifts being Nights or if desired can be 100% Nights. 7 on/7 off - Wed to Tues. Shift starts at 7 PM and ends at 7 AM. Work 80 hours in 7 days.
