Position has the responsibility for supporting the mission, vision, values of the hospital; demonstrating the knowledge and skills to carry out the nursing process when providing care to all patients; meeting the established standards of the AORN nursing practice in supervising, delegating, and coordinating personnel assigned to the unit when in charge; promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments. ResponsibilitiesMust be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license in the State of OklahomaMust obtain PALS within 6 months of date of hire.Current BLS certification required, ACLS preferred must be maintained within 6 months of hire.(1) or more current years of acute care experience as a RN with (1) year perioperative nursing experience preferred.Demonstrates ability to perform the technical skills and critical thinking outlined in performance standards.Must be able to provide nursing care to patients of all ages; infants to geriatric population.Demonstrates leadership and teaching skillsProficient typing and computer skills preferred.
