Systems Analyst (Magento)

Operational Responsibilities Maintain production and non-production application environments Technical understanding to troubleshoot and resolve system issues for E-commerce applications Monitor health of the website(s), and respond to incidents and disruptions such as errors, slow response times, and memory conditions. Coordinate between Development, Operational and Infrastructure teams to ensure smooth release process Ability to independently construct advanced SQL queries, particularly with MySQL. Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning. Implement DevOps pipelines using Jenkins or another suitable DevOps automation tool(s). Role includes a combination of environment, infrastructure and configuration management responsibilities. Respond to queries about how the system operates Develop extensions to our web commerce environment to support a variety of business needs. Develop and leverage tools to manage infrastructure via code. Adhere to IS Department policies best practices and work successfully in an Agile/Scrum SDLC Requirements include: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst, or in DevOps, responsible for an enterprise class customer-facing Java- or PHP- based web application. Experience in implementing Magento 2. Expert level with the following technologies: SQL, Java, Windows / Unix Scripting, Web Services Experience with monitoring tools like New Relic, SolarWinds, CloudFlare, App Dynamics to measure the availability and performance of the E-commerce websites Experience installing and configuring Solr and/or Elastic Search Understanding of Nginx, Apache, Redis, Varnish and web server configuration Experience supporting Magento eCommerce applications. At least Intermediate level in the following technologies: Data Analysis, HTML, JavaScript, CSS Experience in DevOps software development and delivery process in a CI/CD model. Exposure to the following technologies: Middleware, SAP or other ERP, ETL Experience with Magento platform strongly preferred. We are willing to train the right exceptional candidate for this specialized skill. Experience in Agile methodology preferred.
