SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION: ANSER is seeking a Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) subject matter expert (SME) to support the Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategic Deterrence and Nuclear Integration (AF/A10). The SME will: * Serve as the Governments primary POC on NPT-related matters and provide overall guidance on AF requirements for other specific treaties and agreements identified by the government. * Monitor all AF activities and field questions relating to applicable treaties and agreements and AF policy for implementation and compliance. * Provide support to the AF/A10 International Treaties and Agreements Branch including historical background, current and future treaty implications for current projects, and professional opinion(s) on treaty-related matters. * Provide written recommendations representing AF positions on all aspects of AF policy relating to applicable treaties and agreements and professionally brief recommendations to a wide audience from AF senior leaders to base Treaty Compliance Officers * Respond to Government questions, concerns, and comments, as well as be proactive in alerting the Government to potential treaty issues. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: * Must have a current TOP SECRET clearance and be Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligible (have held a DoD SCI position within the previous 24 months). * Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the NPT. * Demonstrated experience with NPT implementation and compliance activities. * Demonstrated knowledge of Air Staff, JS, and OSD organization and responsibilities with respect to specific treaty/agreement requirements. * Familiarity with current NPT policy issues. * Demonstrated knowledge of treaty reporting databases. * Demonstrated experience working in complex environments with multiple POCs. EDUCATION & YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree in a related field of study plus 10 years'' experience.
