Performance Test Specialist with Security Clearance

We are currently looking for an experienced Performance Test Specialist to join one of our long term Federal (DoD) projects in New Orleans, LA. Macro Solutions offers flexible FTE, W2 Hourly and Corp to Corp terms. The tester works closely with developers, system analysts and other members of the test team to develop and maintain test documentation and test cases. Key Responsibilities: * Participate in testing, troubleshooting and analysis on the development of systems.* Provide support in the development, implementation and maintenance of test processes and diagnostic programs.* Develop and document Testing processes and procedures for the environment as necessary.* Create, update, and maintain a Master Test Plan. Requirements: * Secret Clearance or with our assistance has the ability to obtain prior to start date.* Bachelor''s degree and 5 years related testing experience, or MS + 3 years related experience.* Extensive experience and training with LoadRunner software performance testing tool suite.* Familiarity, training or experience with the following systems/tools.* PeopleTools 8.59 or other similar enterprise level programs.* Oracle PL/SQL scripting and tools* ANSI C programming language* Linux/Unix commands and operations* Microsoft Visual Basic Scripting Edition (VBScript)* Extensible Markup Language (XML)* Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP)* JavaScript (JS)* Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP)* Web Services Description Language (WSDL).Desired Experience: * CompTIA Network+ and Security+ or equivalent certifications in networking highly desired. Earning of CompTIA Security+ certificate or alternative may be required. * Experience writing LoadRunner scripts from scratch or proficient experience with ANSI C or Java.* Experience configuring and operating Controller and Monitor components on both Windows and Linux hosts.* Experience with NMCI networking policies, protocols, and procedures a plus.* Understanding of HTML page elements and JavaScript website operations.* Strong SQL query and validation skills and experience with Oracle or other database testing. * Good understanding of QA methodology test plans, test cycles, and software releases.* Excellent analytical, debugging, problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.* Understanding of MicroFocus ALM/Quality Center and MicroFocus Dimensions/Phire are desired.* ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level certification or equivalent highly desired.
