We are passionate about building a community where mental health matters and equitable care is accessible to all races, ethnicities, abilities, socioeconomic statuses, ages, sexual orientations, gender expressions, religions, cultures, and languages.The Family Services Outpatient Therapist will provide family, group and individual therapy to at-risk children ages 8-22 with mental health issues. Utilization of an episode of care model is essential. This position is currently a combination of telehealth and in person services. (This is subject to change due to COVID19 circumstances). The working hours are M-TH 10AM - 6:00 PM, F 9:00AM - 5:00PM. Four (4) 10 hour shifts (8:00am-6:00pm) are also available. FSOP has multiple open positions for both full time and part time employment with flexible schedules. ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES: Engage client and family in the treatment process and goal-setting. Identifies risk factors including lethality. Work constructively with client and family to reach agreed upon outcomes, and coordinates care with internal and external providers. Provide case management services including attending psychiatric appointments as needed, consulting with psychiatrists on clinical issues, attending school staffings and staffings at hospitals and other community agencies to monitor and plan treatment as well as advocate for clients. Maintain appropriate professional standards and provides appropriate follow-up for clients and families. Use PCOMs , CORS and SRS with clients and document in My Outcomes Provide therapy services to a caseload size of approximately 75 clients for full time. Work 4 evenings per week and occasional Saturdays. Implement motivational interviewing techniques to engage clients in treatment. Provide family therapy as the primary modality as well as group and individual. Exhibit enthusiasm, courtesy, adaptability, flexibility, and spirit of cooperation in the work environment. Maintain effective interpersonal relations with consumers, peers, subordinates, upper management, visitors and the general public. Effectively respond to client/consumer needs and problems, initiates and maintains positive interactions, timely response to phone calls, pages, email and other requests. Effectively use collaborative documentation with clients and families Work cooperatively with other community agencies, as appropriate, and in agreement with supervisor. Volunteers to work on Center committees and/or task forces.OTHER DUTIES Attend mandatory in-services, and complies with individualized training plan if required. Attend supervision at times and intervals agreed upon with supervisor and participates in supervision by coming prepared with an agenda. Reports high risk/problem cases, and utilizes a problem solving approach. Satisfactorily complete 90% of peer review charts needing corrections within 14 calendar days (only areas for which staff are responsible). Submit 90% of all Progress-to-Date forms within 3 working days (team specific). Completes95% of all paperwork by the due date. Ensure that fee collections meet the team goal as determined by Network Director. Completes95% of case closings within 90 days after last contact, 210 days for meds only. Meet required number of consumer service hours(CSH) as determined by Network Director.CAC II/ CAC III DUTIES Attends the quarterly CAC business meetings in order to stay abreast of regulations and policies governing substance abuse treatment. Participate in CAC group supervision per OBH regulations. CAC II, 2 hours each month, CAC III or LAC one hour each month. Provide CAC in training group or individual supervision to staff obtaining their certification (CAC III or LAC only) as needed. Completes required paperwork for substance use treatment licenses and billing to Medicaid and other funding sources, including Substance Abuse ROI, Substance Use Assessment, Infectious Disease Acknowledgment Statement, Out-of-State Offender Questionnaire, ASAM Level of Care and Placement Criteria, SOCRATES and DACODs. Endorse the Centers belief that drug testing can be an effective therapeutic tool as it can serve as a deterrent to substance use, a safety measure for prescribing psychotropic medications and provide support to the client to increase the likelihood of successful abstinence. All CAC clinicians will include random or point-in-time urine drug testing (UDT) as a part of the co-occurring services offered here at the Center. SUD Intake clinicians will referral all SUD clients for Point-In-Time/Baseline UDT upon intake.Note: Employees are held accountable for all duties of this job. This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications associated with the job.QualificationsEducation, Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required: Conferred Masters Degree (from an accredited University/College) in social work, counseling, psychology or related field required. Licensure preferred but not required. Clinical Licensure Candidate Status in DORA Two or more years related experience and/or training. Experience in working with children and youth with mental health issues and their families. Skills in family therapy interventions, crisis interventions, culturally competent interventions, cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and other applicable treatment modalities. Must have an understanding of the effects of trauma on the individuals who access services at the Center. Expertise in child development, attachment issues, trauma treatment, abuse/neglect, foster and adoptive issues within families. Knowledge of stages of change, motivational interviewing, culturally appropriate episode of care. CAC II or III also preferred. Computer expertise desired.Salary & BenefitsGrade 51-Masters Unlicensed Clinician $46,400 to $58,900** *Salary is determined based on years of total relevant experience. *Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE.Grade 52-Licensed Clinician (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) $55,600 to $70,900 *Salary is determined based on years of total relevant experience. *Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE.**BONUS OPPORTUNITY!! Three phase bonus paid out using the following schedule. ** Based on full time (40 hours/week). Prorate if less than 40 hours/week.
