Company Overview Willcare is currently hiring a Housekeeper/Companion in the Napanoch area. We offer FLEXIBLE schedules and WEEKLY pay! In addition, you''ll be able to earn PTO hours if you work 32 hrs/week or more!The Housekeeper/Companion is a non-certified non-professional worker who can perform the basic life skills necessary to keep a household functioning. You''ll provides supportive services as assigned to promote the safety and well-being of the client by assisting with homemaking tasks, preparation of meals, and minimal assistance with bathing, grooming and dressing, such as buttoning buttons and combing hair. In this role, you may also provide companionship, monitor safety, and run errands or transport the clients to appointments and shopping. Essential FunctionsWorks under the supervision of the Case Coordinator, Clinical Manager, or Agency Director with working hours being established on a case-by-case basis.Performs tasks only as assigned in a written care planPerforms routine household tasks as assigned in a written care plan including:LaundryChanging linensDusting and vacuumingCleaning the bathroomCleaning the kitchen, doing dishesTaking out trashOther household chores as assigned that do not require strenuous effort (cleaning a closet, sweeping the porch, etc.)Run errandsMeal preparation (grocery planning and shopping)NOTE: duties do not include heavy housework such as washing windows, moving furniture, other chores requiring climbing ladders, etc.Practices universal precautions, basic home safety, and utilizes good body mechanicsUnderstands and can implement emergency protocolsProvides companionshipMaintains records as required:Documents tasks preformed with each visitKeeps accurate time recordsNotifies supervisor of significant changes to the client''s situation, accidents, damage to the client''s property, requests to perform services not included on the assignments, requests to change hours, etc. Education & ExperienceEqual Opportunity Employer - vets, disability.
