AIDE

The Teacher Assistant provides overall assistance to the teacher during school hours, as well as assisting on the residential unit prior to the start of each school day. Areas of assistance include the design and delivery of therapeutic treatment plans, instructional systems, and lesson plans in a multi-level classroom of adolescents during their residential treatment. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Obtain and or/maintain Georgia state certification as a paraprofessional. Some experience with acute emotionally challenged children or adolescents preferred. Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills. Clerical or other light office experience preferred.
