DESCRIPTION Voice-driven AI experiences are becoming a reality and Amazon''s Alexa and Echo devices are at the forefront of this technology wave. In the Alexa International team, we focus on bringing user-delighting, voice-activated experiences to Amazon customers globally. This role is responsible for driving the Alexa customer experience as we expand to new countries.We are looking for an experienced Principal Product Manager (Technical) who loves bringing new experiences and products to life. You will own the end-to-end product management cycle, including establishing customer insights, building business requirements, and driving development through deployment. You will work with business leaders, scientists, engineers, and economists to deliver delightful customer experiences. You have strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.We are looking for a unique individual who is interested in bigger picture strategic thinking with a passion for data-driven decision making and optimization. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, team-oriented, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines.A passion for cultural diversity and understanding of machine learning or AI concepts is desirable. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor''s Degree 7+ years of experience in product management or technology Experience with end to end product delivery Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product Experience in leading cross-functional teams in how to continuously improve the business and define what''s next The ability to create and implement scaling mechanisms PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS MBA or Master''s Degree Demonstrated ability to manage complex and highly visible projects Strong written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrated experience influencing senior executives Exceptional analytical skills, ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously Strong analytical and quantitative skills; experience using data to illustrate business conclusions A deep understanding of software development Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
